This course is for the people that have always wanted to learn how to shoot, but have never had the opportunity to do so.
Lasting 2 to 4+ hours, this course is set up to take a person that has never handled a firearm and teach them the basics starting at the safety rules, ammunition education, proper terminology, grip and handling procedures, stance, breathing control, trigger control, basic malfunction clearing, post shooting practices, and more!
This is a ONE ON ONE, all inclusive course that includes 300 rounds of ammunition in 4 different calibers, the use of all safety gear, rang time, training pistol simulators, and the firing of 7 different hand guns.
At the completion of the course the student will have the confidence and basic skills to handle firearms safely and competently.
The student will fire the following pistols in class:
SiRT Trainer
Glock 44 - .22 Long Rifle
Glock 17 Gen 1 - 9mm
Glock 19 Gen 5 - 9mm with red dot
Glock 43x - 9mm
Glock 42 - .380acp
Beretta M9 - 9mm
Taurus 650 - .38 Special
Student MUST be 18 years of age and must complete a safety waiver.
Student needs to show up with a positive attitude, long sleeve shirt, pants, and closed toe shoes.
This course is taught by a former Marine Corps Combat Marksmanship Coach, NRA/USCCA/USMC Range Safety Officer, and NRA Basic Pistol Course Instructor (Former).
